I've seen a couple other threads on how the auto trash functionality can be improved but my suggestion is simply to have the ability to toggle it off and on.

This would be for when there is something that you want to grab out of your trash but are unable to because of auto trash. So normally you would go into auto trash settings, clear the specific entity, do you business, then re-add entity to auto trash.

So yeah instead of all that if there was just an off button for the auto trash slots so we didn't have to mess around with your settings that would be sweet.

I 100% agree. I am in this situation surprisingly often.

Looking at other threads: disable personal robots, disable trash slots, disable exoskeleton, ...
I can see a pattern. It looks like we need a brand-new UI mechanic
