this could be useful for all network applications (which I recently needed) and I think I recently found a bug where the condition "item < 0" would allow positiv and negative values to be proceced (decider combinator), although the condition logicly wouldnt.

and there would also be an idea for the inserters. The "pro signal" (german version)condition is quite useful and versatile, so I wonder if we could get that one as another activation condition for inserters.

well, just to be clear.

I was thinking about this as an option for the arithmetik combiner, not the inserter. I do know that these options are often requested for the inserters (which I am also part off ^^, but the spectrum should definetly be widened to the combiners and activation conditions. More options make way for more creativity (at least I like to think thats true).
