This is more of a silly idea than anything, but I think it would be a decent way to use trains for military use.

There have been ideas about gun trains and such, but one idea that came to me a few days ago is to allow trains to go off the rails and act as massive slugs capable of destroying large enemy bases. It would work by allowing the ends of tracks to have the bumpers removed. This would allow trains to go off the rails as projectiles. Of course, after moving for a while, they would stop and could be repaired and reused. Again, this is more of a "for the laughs" kind of idea, but it would be nice to do!

And I'm 100% sure (and searched now for half an hour) that there is also another suggestion, which is exactly like this. But no success.

Always wanted to stuff a car or a train with the dynamite, head to the large biter nest, speed up and get off before the impact and then run out because cool guys don't look at explosions
