Right now we have more entities that can be connect to the circuit network but still not all of them. Additionally before and after placing them we don't have almost any hint if that entity can be connected or not (only some entities like inserters have GUI with little icon in top-right corner). Some entities like chest have indicator but it appear only after connecting wires. All we can do to be sure is checking entities by clicking on them while holding wires.

My proposition is to add to the entities descriptions if they can be connected. This should be visible in crafting menu and after placing entity on ground.
