Construction Chest

Currently, if you want to have your construction bots deconstruct buildings in an area, you must have a "Storage Chest" for them to place their items into. The problem is, as soon as you drop a storage chest, all your logistic bots try to pack it full of everything sitting anywhere in Provider Chests. I propose making a construction chest which works like the storage chest for the construction bots, giving them someplace to store and retrieve items for construction, but is completely ignored by logistic bots. Alternately, just adding a checkbox to the Storage Chest to not fill from logistic bots would be adequate as well.

This would be nice to have.

I believe this is the third or fourth such suggestion here.

Not really. There are some sorts of chests, which are requested.

There was for example the production chest, that works like a provider chest but sends its contents only to requester chests. Can be useful or not, must be tried.

And when I'm at it I suggest another chest. :)

Unless you see one with a poll and know a way around the rate limited search, duplicate topics are going to happen. Not sure why it matters though, unless people are worried about post count, in which case people who post "already posted" are just posting to post and working quite counter-intuitively.

I'm not saying this is bad, just pointing it out. For all it's worth, the sheer number of threads indicates the scale of a problem.

Though, having said that, I can't avoid saying that at least two of these topics are on the first page of the "suggestions" forum.
