A potential underground wireing system would help in multiple bases,
The wires would havea long reach and a simple 3x3 or 1x1 conduction area, connection poles connect them to the surface.

Basically you want the power pole without the pole...

The poles don't add much to the game. Basically you just sh*tting them on a factory, because you just want everything work. If you found a pole in the wrong place then you will replace it, and there is always a place for an another pole. IMO we just need the poles cover more, reach further.

BUT I think there will be a patch named "Electric System" and there will be some changes in there like nuclear reactor, tier 2 steam machine, and maybe underground electric system.
