When using the additional info view, the icon on an building is 1/2 the size of the building. When zoomed in, this works nicely, because it still shows the edges of the building, any inputs/outputs it might have, whether it's running or not, etc. However, when zoomed out, most of that detail is indistinguishable and it would be really useful if the icon would scale up to the full size of the building. Perhaps at zoom=1 and higher (zoomed in), the current behavior remains, but as zoom approaches 0.25 then the icon gets scaled up to 2x its original size. So at zoom=0.675 the icon would be 150% normal size, or 75% the size of the building.
