Please upload the picture as attachement, or describe the placement of the wanted button with word, cause as it is it can't be seen yet (The provider plays funny cats and dogs with it).

I have no idea what happened there, the picture was not visible to me so I opened the image url and was forwarded to an actual web site instead of the image, so I replaced the image url with the direct one.
Which was still visible to me just now, before I edited it again to use an attachment.

Lame excuses. :D No, as said, the providers of such sites will do funny stuff to bring you to click on their site to see ads. Best is ALWAYS attach pic (upload here); that guarantees also, that it still can be seen in some years.

It also allows me to see the images from work : hosting sites are blocked by our proxies, so imgur hosted images can't be seen :)

To get back on topic:

Why would you want a mute button for the replay (and not for normal play)? Arguing that there is space on the replay interface isn't really an argument, as that space could also be used for other buttons in the future (like a 'set to 1x speed' button for example) or the layout could be changed.

It's very easy to mute Factorio already ingame (Options --> Sound --> Master volume) or from the OS, or even a keyboard mute button.
These settings would also persist for future replays whereas a mute button for the replay might not, depending on where that setting would be saved.

I just an Opinion from me, because i listen music in the background and can only mute like you said ingame before i start the replay or i mute my computer. I thought it would be a idea do improve the game a little. or i missed the mute button somewhere.
