More Turret Types

How about more turrets types to accommodate the different guns and ammo in the game?
At the the moment lasers are the be end all of base defense which encourages the same strategy of mass power expansion every game with gun turrets having too little range and health to deal with spitters after not too long. Along with this the whole line of ammo products feels unused, a single factory for bullets, shotgun shells and regular cannon ammo is all I ever need for personal use and just for that one explosives plant is overkill. Some specialised, high consumption, high reward turrets, like high collateral flamers or long range cannons, would make planning defense and defense industry a whole extra bucket of fun not to mention having to carefully pick which turrets to upgrade. Having more turrets gives us more strategies and as well as more factories to design for items already in the game.
