multiplayer improvements

hello, will there ever be some kind of faction system within multiplayer mode, because it would circumvent greifing naturally like in space engineers for example, the turrents can be programed to attack anyone who isn't in your faction.
and will there be any other improvements with the upcoming multiplayer GUI list to make multiplayer with randoms, viable. (without scheduling regular backups :roll: ;) )

If I'm not mistaken, there already exists a system of forces, and possibility to declare a force hostile. But it's all with console commands yet.There are PVP scenarios already :

Can't tell you what they look like though : I don't like multiplayer, let alone PVP XD

Not only are there scenarios, you can change any multiplayer save to have players in different factions (called forces in Factorio) with these mods:
[MOD 0.12.x] Diplomacy (0.12.1)
EasyPvP mod

Multiplayer will get several changes with 0.13, including a server browser / matchmaking system.
