Logistics -> Circuit Network Adapter

I'd like to see something that can take a logistics network signal and put it on a circuit network. I think the simplest and most versatile would be an adapter (1x1 grid square) that could be placed in a logistics network and pass the selected signal through to its circuit network outputs.

I'd just like to see it in the form of a simple adapter that can pass just the selected signal through, rather than a comparator of any sort that performs operations on it (not really necessary with adapter + existing circuit network combinators) or a blind adapter that throws every logistics network signal through (I don't like that for various reasons).

I don't think there should be an adapter that goes the other way, first because it doesn't make much sense to me (it gives you the ability to insert artificial signals into the logistics network which doesn't seem right) and also I think it'd just be ... too much, somehow.

Here are just a couple of examples of the interesting things that would be made possible with this:
  • If multiple smart inserters are controlled by the same logistics network condition (say you have a bunch set to not transfer unless there's less than 5000 of some resource), now you can use a constant comparator to set that 5000 (for example) to something else all in one place, instead of having to edit each inserter.
  • Logistics signals could be transferred to remote locations, e.g. shut down a factory if there's enough of something in storage elsewhere. Useful for managing resource flow on trains, too.
  • I can think of all kinds of cool things, but those are the two that made me want to suggest this.
What do you guys think?

I'm currently running 0.12.29 alpha.

I think this will come with 0.13, but not as described here. :) See latest FFF.

I found a mod that adds exactly this item: viewtopic.php?f=93&t=14703
