Fun and expensive craftable event

I'd like to be able to craft an item that would give you a spectacular concert or gathering. The item would require a lot of resources. You might have to build a special enclosure that might even include gates, strobe lights, music and fireworks and once the event item is enacted, the aliens would be drawn to the event. The event would lure them far from their nests. They wouldn't attack during this and would act sort of drunk or in love for the duration so long as you don't attack them. They would be allowed through the gates and then they'd be locked in. Special music would play. The nests would be inactive during this period. Nothing would spawn. Maybe you could rig the nests with dynamite and set it all off once the event was over. At the end of the concert the building would be armed and start firing on the aliens who would now start acting normally. The aliens might also be in a hurry to get back to the nest so it might be a good time to build an elaborate maze for them with lots of land mines.
