Using both lines of a trasportbelt for different items can be very useful but also quite complicated/anoying.
So I thought of some transportbelt-addons that could help control the itemflow on the belts.

One that blocks one line of the Belt,
A A A A A I
B B B B B B B B B B B B

one that merges the two lines of a belt,
A A A A A \
B B B B B B A B A B A B A B

one that swaps the lines of a belt
A A A A A \/ B B B B B B
B B B B B B/\A A A A A A

and one that splits the lines on two belts.

This has been suggested several times and, as far as I know, there is currently no plan to implement any of that because you can already do that with the help of underground belts.
