Add encyclopedia in game

How about adding encyclopedia to game?

Add information on creeps, bases, game mechanics, advises, game logic there.

This will be much better to have than switching to wiki (that lacks a lot of information) or forums.

That would be cool, but maybe not a prioritary thing. (Or yes? Because adding information of things is easier to do as you make the things, and maybe in the future there would be looots of things to document about)

Well, as for alpha/beta, new proposals can be put in encyclopedia and voted from there. Probably also links to corresponding discussion threads, email developer. In beta it gives easy and fast feedback. In release, this feature can be removed from official versions, but still turned on for pre-release.

Ingame Encyclopedia

I think an ingame encyclopedia would be super cool!

Like the tech screen (or maybe integrated with it) would show all recipes and production rate, to explore what to do next, or define your ratios, etc...

And, maybe, while we are at it, integrate a recipe calculator.
Or maybe an "open calculator" not binded to recipes where to insert manually ratios and see hypotethical results.
For a project like this, I like the technology used in game (0.17.*) for defining train stops.

What do you think?

The easiest might be to have an offline copy of the wiki... like we already have the offline version of the Factorio API documentation.

[Koub] Merged into older topic with same suggestion.
Also, for people interested in the subject, this has already been discussed in a few places :
