I think inside the multyplayer menu there is the necessity to save the credential for multyplayer servers, like saving the IP and adding a nave to that Ip.

I got it!
You mean a in-game-stored server list, allowing for a quick connect.

the factorio accepts command line arguments for connecting to servers.
If you have one favourite server, you might consider creathing a desktop shortcut
with the appropriate --connect argument, effectively remembering those credentials.

I would like an in-game multiplayer menu for recently connected servers. I don't know about you, but I don't remember ip addresses very well.

Huh? It's already there. Just press arrow up inside the address field to recall your previous connections.

this information could be presented in a better way... such as a click list under the typing bar.

Well actually the creation of a shortcut on the desktop is a bit difficult for the normal user, i think its better having a sort of list where you can save the server you like (check the Teamspeak menu for saving servers) so it will be easier to join and categorizing servers.
