Modular Vehicles

I would really like modular vehicles, since having more then one frame is kind of a waste, if we can just drag and drop in/out different guns.
Example: I built the tank after the hives had already developed physical armour resistance, therefor the machine gun is useless.
What if we could swap the smg for the flamer?
I'd be able to use the flamer for the regular mobs and keep using the cannon(or railgun) for hives.
