TL;DR

Instead of toggling all the exoskeletons, let it cap our speed instead.

What?

Remove the "toggle exoskeletons" button, and replace it with "toggle speed limit", which caps our speed at a value we can configure. Note, it should be a percentage of BASE speed, not a percentage of our MAX speed. I want to configure it to something that's comfortable for me, and that should not change just because my suit's max speed does.

Paved ground bonuses would not increase speed beyond the limit. Belts (maybe?) should--belt immunity equipment is available if we don't want that.

Why?

My late game armor with half a dozen legendary exoskeletons is amazing for zipping around a large base or exploring new territory. But it's totally unusable for close work. On the other hand, the base no-legs speed is just unbearably slow for any purpose whatsoever.

I'd rather have a setting for a maximum acceleration instead. If you want a specific speed, you can just have a second set of power armor with a different amount of exoskeletons inside of it.

And ship it around to every planet? No thanks.

It's also pretty unnecessary to have a specific armor for a specific speed. With a short acceleration, you're going to be able to move in small amounts, and also go full speed when needed. So the UI has one less button, instead of changing the button.

You should make a suggestion thread for that!
