Create customized upgrade/deconstruction planner directly

Frequently, I need a customised upgrade planner or deconstruction planner for a one-off task. Currently, to do this, I need to create a default planner (by clicking on the hotbar button or using Alt-D or Alt-U), then drop that planner into either my inventory or the blueprints window, then right-click the planner to open its menu and customise it as I wish, then save the changes, then left-click the customised planner to pick it up so I can actually use it.

It would be nice if there were a way to directly open the customisation window (e.g. by right-clicking the hotbar button or with Alt-Shift-D/Alt-Shift-U), and when you saved it you would be holding the customised planner in your hand without it having been instantiated as an item at all.

+1 to this as it compounds with being unable to open the inventory in map mode, making it so that if I want a one-time blueprint/upgrade/decon planner, I need to put it on my hotbar.
Space age finally made me switch from using 3 hotbars to 4 (I want to have that space stuff on hand cause I tinker with space platforms a lot!), but even still, everything there is useful!
I've ended up reserving a slot for 'rotating stuff', that changes on an as-needed basis.

Being able to directly make custom planners and use them as the one-time use that they are would not only be a convenience for its own sake, but would also help ease my hotbar issues (which is basically the inventory when in map mode).

It took me ages to even discover that you could make custom ones (I only noticed when I saw screenshots of people with them...) so even just telling you how to manually do it in the tooltip for the shurtcut button would be great
