Allow (non-cheaty) map rechart without disabling achievements

TL;DR
Let the player rechart the map info they already know without using an achievement-disabling console command. What?
I would like an in-game option or non-cheating command to rechart the map, or specifically the areas and objects that the player should already have knowledge of. I know about "/c game.player.force.rechart()" in the command line, but that disables achievements. After searching this forum and others I have not found a non-cheating way to do it.Why?
I recognize that this is somewhat niche, but when using accessibility mods (for color blindness) or map enhancement mods for clarity in reading the map, sometimes you want to change settings, add, or remove a mod, and it doesn't always work well: mods may not undo their changes correctly on uninstall, may not update already-charted chunks on install, may break upon version changes or other mod interactions, etc. A simple fix for any map-related weirdness seems to be recharting the map, and the only way I'm aware of to force that to happen is a console command which disables achievements. I understand that achievements in modded games are already tracked separately so in some sense they don't "count" anyway, but the point of them for me is not bragging rights but rather tracking my own progress. Also, when I speak of "recharting", I'm not talking about some sort of instant radar-like scan that could reveal map info the player shouldn't know about. Rather, I'm talking about updating the visuals of the things on the map that the player has already seen, primarily the player's own structures, resource patches, etc. I'm currently playing with biter expansion off so I don't actually know if the above console command would reveal a new biter nest in an already-explored chunk. The functionality I'm asking for wouldn't do that.
