Show arrow to pinned object when hovering over pin

TL;DR
The arrow to the pinned object should show when hovering over it, even if it is set to not always show.

What?
When a pin is set to "always show", the arrow and distance appears.
When a pin is set not "always show", the arrow doesn't show. Hovering shows the camera at the pin, but there's no way to know where the pinned object is, requiring the player to edit the pin, enable "always show", get to the object, and disable "always show".
Hovering over the pin to show its direction and distance is more user friendly.

I absolutely agree with this, like a lot of players i every now and then (read always) lose track of my car. So i pinned it to find it quicker, how ever i now still need to click the pin and check on the map where it is, where i would like to just start to walk in its direction, if i had a arrow pointing towards it (it usually isn't that far).

+1, and I'll add something--separate "always show" checkboxes for the pin itself and the arrow. It's awesome having an arrow showing which way my friend is and how far. But that big fat pin over him when he's onscreen is so annoying that I leave it turned off.

Show pin directional arrow on pin entry mouseover

TL;DR
More flexibility in using pin direction arrows

What?
The pins system is amazing, especially with vehicles, other players, malls, POIs etc. Especially with their label+arrow directional display so you can find stuff without zooming out all the time.
But the all-or-nothing approach to the "Always visible" checkbox that shows this arrow makes it really hard to use effectively. It would be very handy to show the arrow when mousing over a pin (when the little map preview of the pin shows up).

Alternatively, if showing on mouseover wouldn't be desirable, we could have a quick toggle button (eye symbol?) to flip that checkbox right next to the "edit pin" button, without needing to enter, change & confirm that in pin edit dialog.
Why?
So we can use the directional arrows without cluttering our screen with al of them all the time. We're not supposed to have many pins, but where there's just 5 of them, it's still a mental overhead to *find* the one you want amongst all the edge arrows.
And IMO you only need the arrow at specific short time intervals, and one at a time anyway. It makes a lot of sense to find the pin on a list, mouse over it and run in the direction shown.

This is also consistent with the new Alerts UI that show an arrow on mouseover.

When using "Always visible" on many entries:
