Change "Enqueue" to "Add to Queue" in english

in 2.0, Enqueue Research should be renamed to Queue Research in the English localization. While Enqueue may be in the dictionary, its UK english only and Queue Research or Add to Queue make more grammatical sense.

I don't see why using enqueue is an issue. Queue is not a word specific to British English only, it is however less common to use in American English. For example its used in technical contexts such as a "print queue", saying "print line" would not be correct. Enqueue follows the same line of reasoning. I live in the US and I understand queue and enqueue just fine.
This localization is also not exclusive to the United States. Its also used in other English speaking countries so why only use American English?

Queue is common in both, but Enqueue is specific to british english only and that's what I brought it up. Sure it's easy to work out what it means, but the point of localization is to make it clear, and in that case Queue Research is clearer. Its correct in both UK english and US english unlike Enqueue.
It's a lot like the difference between Flammable and Inflammable. They both mean the same thing and get the point across, but Flammable is still more clear.

No one ever says "enqueue" in english - while technically correct, it's a very obscure word. Consider instead "add research to queue"

I disagree. "Enqueue" is fine. It might not be an everyday word but there's nothing obscure about its meaning. And it's shorter than "Add to queue" which makes it faster to read, which is of value in a UI.

As a native English speaker, why not just "Queue Research"?

UK don't have monopoly on English grammar.
Add to Queue would look more nice though.
Especially since queue is actually manageable now.

As a non-native English speaker, I find the word enqueue obscure and was surprised by its use.
Normally, I expect a game to use widely used words, to ensure accessibility.

In this age of tragically diminishing vocabulary, I wholeheartedly support this movement.

As an ESL software developer, I am well aware of the words "Enqueue" and "Dequeue".

American checking in. Seeing "Enqueue research" sent me here because I have never seen the word "enqueue" in my life, and I have a relatively large vocabulary. It seems it's a real word, but more used in data work. In this context, it makes very little sense.

That is a great side effect of this discussion
When I started learning English, I learned a lot by playing Minecraft and watching Minecraft videos.
In my opinion, learning by doing something you like is the best.

It's all well and good saying it's good for learning new words.
But, a fair warning to those learning english as a second language; if you use the word "enqueue" rather than "add to queue" in conversation then people will think your English is very bad indeed.

After reaching it in game, I have to say that I agree "Enqueue Research" looks out of place on the button. "Add to Queue" or "Queue research" would fit the overall theme better. Nitpicky locale mod incoming.
Also the fact that the trigger-based research has a Start Research button bugs me, even if it is grayed out.

What was wrong with the wording from 1.x? Please revert to that phrasing.

It needs to revert to whatever it was before, it looks weird every time I see it.
