TL;DR

It would be nice to be able to read the contents and set requests on requester and buffer chests at the same time using a different colored wire for each.

What ?

I would like to use "read contents" and "set requests" simultaneously using the different wire-colors.
Would it be possible to implement it, so we can select, for example, "set requests from the red wire" and "read contents to the green wire"?

There might be other entities where this would make sense, so maybe it could be built so that it is possible to select up to two modes and associate a color with each. And even if there is only one possible mode it could make sense, for example, if you want to enable an entity only if a certain condition is true on the green network, but ignore the red one.

Why ?

This would be very helpful to create a setup where you request a certain amount of items once and when it has been delivered you remove the request automatically.
Think about starting up farming in the bobs/angels mod, for example, or a system that requests the exact amount of materials for building one spidertron and then builds it without requesting more materials.
