Scout shopper for exploring maps

What about a chopper you can fly around nicely to explore. It may use allot of fuel and cannot attack. you can fly above everything but if you are in air and try landing above something like a tree or player made machines or run out of fuel you crash and explode (die). It could be like this: when you start the rotors you can look at the shadow how high in the air you are and then fly around. if you are going to land make sure it is empty ground beneath you. If you are close enough to worms they can shoot you down and hurt you badly. The chopper could may only be able to burn one certain fuel type like canned petroleum from oil. when filling you empty your cans to fill the tank on the chopper. I don't know if this is suggested before but i think this could be a nice idea of exploring large maps because driving around is hard.
