So, I have over 1000 mods. I have played with all of them at least once at some point. When I go to the updates page of the in-game mod manager, the mod manager pops up with [Unable to check for updates]. I know that is a big piece of baloney because I can go into the install tab and "install" updates from there. The relevant log is attached.

Thanks for the report. I don't think we're going to do anything about this since at some point there will be a limit to how many it will work with and it working with even a hundred or two hundred mods at once is great. The limit being around 1000 or more seems ok with me.
