[1.1.19] No shotgun sound when personal laser defence is active

hey i was killing some bugs and i am running into this (bug?) where when the personal laser def is shooting it doesnt play the sounds for your gun you are shooting with any of them (havent tried pistol or normal shotgun). for reference this is vanilla 1.1x with 5 laser def. sorry if this is intended behavior or not really a concern, just was kind of annoying when the sound for the guns goes in and out.

Don't forget to state which version you're currently using

I was able to replicate this in [1.1.19] by using this setup:

and wading into the largest nests I could spawn on world gen, with shotgun blazing.

It's probably a hard limit with the sound handler - too many sounds playing at once means that only some can be played when they're called... maybe calls for a prioritization of sounds?

my game was vanilla and it seems to me like it is able to play the gun sound when the lasers switch targets.

I don't think we are gonna be able to fix this anytime soon.
