I found a visual bug with items on belts in the newest release, I am using 0.18.x on Steam as of 5/29/2020. When a belt turns downwards and left, the item after the turn sits on top of both the left and right items on the belt (basically in front of everything else), not sure if it works with multiple items, but the same item on the belt results in the visual bug. This is known, we won't fix this.

Both the top left curves in the examples you gave also had items that were below both items on either side. Can't quite tell, but I think the direction of the belts is reversed in the image you gave? This doesn't appear to change it, as in both cases it occurred. I see it's too minor to be a priority, just wanted to add the information.
