Glitch through small objects

I noticed that the player is able to run through normally impassible objects such as assemblers and over small rivers with a VERY high speed bonus. I had to use mods to get such a high speed (+1000) so it can't happen in a normal game. I assume this is because the game checks a certain distance in front of the player based on how fast they are moving to check for collisions.
Anyway, it isn't really important but I figured I'd post it anyway in case it is useful in some way.

Thanks for the report however we have no intention of changing how this works because it would have an added performance hit when not needed in the vast majority of the game.
If you turn the numbers up to crazy then you can deal with the crazy results

Also, running over small creeks (1 tile) is intentional.

Would that affect performance in a noticeable way? I guess it doesn't matter since at such high speeds it is impossible to position yourself. I'm sure this has come up in suggestions but it would be nice to have speed scale up over a second of movement while using exoskeletons since is is hard to move precisely with 5+ of them.
