No. That logo should either be no link at all, or better link to the main page of the forum.

I agree with that. This forum needs a simple link to main site.
Turning this "www.factorio.com" into the link would be easiest and the best way.

I just use the fancy white bar at the top of my browser. Shockingly, I have no trouble forgetting the name of the parent website.

It's not about not remembering the name of the site, but about the needed work to reach the site.

Agree. In terms of usabilty / user experience it would be great when there is a link back to the main page. By the way it isn't bad for SEO either.
Best way is to turn the <p> tag "www.factorio.com" into <a> tag href="www.factorio.com"...

But maybe you had something special in mind @ devs?

This is not the only forum with that kind of problem.

This topic is finished. We all agree that we want a link to factorio.com. There's the URL to factorio.com at the top. We all agree that we want to change it into a link. Now we just have to wait for a developer to change it.

Or, you know, just use your keyboard and type the simple address... and not into google, into your address bar directly.

Having gone back to the site enough, Chrome seems to know that if I type the letters "fa" into the search/url bar that I'm planning to go to factorio.com, which I usually am...

Still, it seems like such a simple dead easy thing to do to change that www.factorio.com into an actual link...

This is actually a phpBB issue not a "Factorio" or even "Factorio Forum" issue. Without modification all phpBB forums header logo links back to the main forum page. This is actually standard practice on most CMS/Forum software with a few variations/deviations. What I would recommend is that a forum admin create a forum "link" that simply links back to the site and place it at the top of the forum list. That's a simple non-code modification method of adding a link, it will still mean though however that you will have to navigate to the main forums page to click it.

It's not so hard to modify phpBB.

1. Open styles/prosilver/template/overall_header.html
2. Find 3. Replace with 4. Repeat steps 1-3 for styles/factorio and styles/subsilver2
5. Purge the phpBB cache
