Quotes not shown in some searches

If you search for something and a post includes a quote that is longer than the preview length of the post, there will be no indication that the post begins with a quote. Ideally it would be formatted as a quote and then truanted; otherwise, I think it would still be better if the post was shown as beginning with . Looking into this more, sometimes it appears to happen even when the whole quote is shown - is it if the full sentence or paragraph after isn't showing either?
Just as an example, from this search we can see the following as the preview of one of Rseding's posts:
