Oops! Wrong section?

It was late and I think I may have posted in the wrong section, since general is near the top and says "Post all other topics which do not belong to any other category" and it sounded like exactly where to post so I didn't continue looking at descriptions after I saw that...but as I keep looking at descriptions, the Off-Topic section is where it should've gone. I think I posted in General.
I think my post was deleted, though. Did I violate any rules? I definitely didn't mean to by suggesting a classic game and a fun community event to watch. All in good fun because I've become completely enthralled with it and wanted to share with others...just how I share Factorio!
