I agree that this could be a problem under certan circumstances. Therefore, I guess the best solution to this would be to introduce a new feature to phpBB allowing users to filter out shadow threads in their view. This feature should be disabled by default, though.

However, such a feature request would be best discussed on the phpBB discussion forum instead of here.

Could it be that you have already made the feature suggestion that I made in my last post? I am asking because I remembered that somebody had already made the suggestion, but then I was unable to find it. So I posted the suggestion myself, assuming that my memory must be wrong.

A moderator must know, I'll be waiting for them, I guess.

Sorry for the confusion, I deleted those post since this exact question was literally answered a few posts previously, at the same time new posts referencing those were made so it got chaotic.
