Sounds from an unknown source on a web page are incredibly annoying. And when 2 soundtracks play at once it is totally broken.

If turning off autoplay is really impossible, you should at least mute it by default.

I'm deeply convinced autoplay is the worst thing ever created - besides Brussel sprouts and Marmite of course.
Well the above statement is only half a joke : I have several plugins in my browsers just to prevent accidental auto-play. I hope the one who invented autoplay - be it video or audio - will be condamned to endure autoplay vids on every pages he visits, so that he can meditate on what he has unleashed upon earth.

Okay the sound will be muted by default:



Their usage on the forum is as a replacement for gifs, so autoplay is intended

That's a good tradeoff, the sound is the most annoyingest thing :mrgreen:

Can't we all just go back to flash? it's far superior to MP4, though I haven't done any tests with WebM because everything that has the option usually defaults to MP4.
