Can I become a spam-mod please?

I am getting sick and tired of logging in every morning and finding spam posts and being unable to do something about it. I would like to volunteer as a spam-mod with the power to delet posts.

I know that would give potential for abuse, but I promise that all I want is to delete those spam posts. I wouldn't get involved in anything else.

Why not? Spam-moderator is AFAIK an already existing role, I just need to think and learn about it.

Yeah thanks, but my kitchen is just fine, and I don't think I need to add a fake diploma to my real diploma

I should mention though that I can't make any promises of how much time I would spend - it would just be that I delete whatever spam I find when I do

We only have a couple of spam posts each day, and we have more than enough moderators that can deal with it

Could you please consider changing the registration?
In the last 3 days there was a massive spam attack every morning (GMT) what don't makes fun.

I guess this could be easily prevented if only registered user can post and registration has a type like 'I'm human' button.
