Hit alt to bring up the "more-information" overlay, it's really nice, tells you what is working, where inserters are going, and your pollution cloud on the mini-map

the pick-up key (if you haven't found out by now) is F

a better self filling drill is to have two drills facing each other (nvmd, you saw it elsewhere)

music slider is under "ambient" for some reason (devs pls)

oil does magic stuff, its mid-later game, and you need to research "Oil-processing"

the output side of a belt "pushes" the coal one square farther then the belt, so you can (and should in almost every case) leave a gap between the belt and the inserter
heh, you will wish you had more copper when you start making circuits to the volume you need for modules

the starting items are purely so that you shave almost 5 mins off of the starting grind

(1 pump : 14 boilers : 10 engines) is the standard power plant setup

don't call the inserters crazy, they are doing exactly what you told them to do

"feels like it's 15-20 mins" timestamp says 17, not bad... not bad at all... (looking at you DrDoom's "so it's been ~20 mins"... Timestamp... 50mins)

PS: that inserter is pulling the coal out, not stone, you need to back it off by one square...
