Hi guys, I just got home and was gonna start up a fresh game with these new changes and wanted to make it multiplayer.

Sadly, none of my friends play this game (yet), but I still think it would be fun to mess with it so i'll just post my info and stuff here if anyone cares to come join in

Server address is 68.207.212.14

I also have a ventrilo server i'm on all the time if anyone wants to come get in on that, I can give info out in game once you get in here. Never tried the multiplayer out so i'll try to check this post now and then to see if anyone is having problems joining or whatever.

Hope to see someone soon. :)

I don't believe it asked me what port when I made the server, so whatever is the default should be it

the standard port is 34197 you must forward this in your router settings

I'm not behind any kind of router or firewall or anything, hrm. Wonder what else it could be.

I used to use a router way back when so i'm familiar with port forwarding and such, but my current setup doesn't have one.

I believe it is my modem's fault. It's one of those newer, fancier surfboard modems and I believe it acts like a wifi hotspot and such (though i've never used any of that functionality) so it is probably acting in a way similar to a router and would need port forwarding. Unfortunately I don't know the username or password to actually login to the modem to change the settings, cable company never gave that to me. And i've never needed it until now.

I tried the usual standard type stuff like admin for username and pass or one or the other, etc. and none of that is working, so i'm thinking brighthouse may have given it a special username and pass to use. I'll call em up tomorrow and see if I can get it out of them.

That port is indeed blocked though. Shame :(
