Auto-idle server?

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to drum up some interest in Factorio amongst my friends, and I offered to host a server for us to play on. I have a nice little server box to use, and I've used it for other games so I am familiar with linux. But one thing I would like to know is if the server auto-idles if no one is on it? OpenTTD for example has a setting you can use to prevent the game running if <X people are on the server. Does Factorio currently support this? Or is there a mod that can replicate this? If not, is it worth me looking into making one, assuming it is even possible to pause a multiplayer game server-side?

Keep up the good work on this amazing game, I simply need more Factorio in my life :D

Excellent! I couldn't find any info on it in the server hosting part of the wiki.

Thanks for the quick reply, happy automating :)

If you run the server with a --help, you'll get some options, one of which allows the server to keep running even when everybody has disconnected (iirc)
