bear in mind, all participants need to port forward unless you are using a virtual network such as Hamachi or Evolve - there is no such thing as "hosting a server" like one would normally do, the game is peer-to-peer meaning you are all just clients running the game. A "server"s only purpose as of now is to have a single point of entry so players can connect to a shared ip - they still need to port forward their own routers tho or others will not be able to join the fun.

They do have UDP hole punching if one have public ip (i think devs said they said so) so only 1 person needs public IP.
