aye, was some italian guy with crappy internet - didn't know it paused the game but once told on irc he left

disabled YARM and started a new map

I have notice the download takes time now thanks of its both peer to peer and that the map size has reached over 30 MB. so be patien but please do check your internet if its going way to slow. 2-3 min max wait time should only be allowed at this point. for each conection.

reverting to vanilla for now, also new map

I dunno who made this factory but it's a right mess!

Player called Thunder just griefed the place.

Futuretorio doing the same now, last time I bother with public servers.

Futuretorio managed to destroy everything.

yea, we hope 0.13 will bring some changes around - until then, public servers are a gamble =/

How about a web app that can edit a whitelist on your server? I know a little Ruby on Rails. "Devise gem" and you've got e-mail authenticated database of users that you can automatically whitelist (after verifying e-mail).

That would be helpful - I've been thinking of making one myself but until 0.13 hits and we get to see what kind of authentication/whitelist wube implements there it feel a bit like wasted effort.

If you decide to make such a web app however I'd be happy to give it a spin

I've been on this server quite frequently but sometimes I can't join even though I can ping (around 70ms) any reason why?

are you sue you have the correct version of factorio installed? as per the first post here I've updated the server to 0.12.30

Hey there. I saw this server and I thought about stopping by.
I hope you don't mind me setting up a basic oli refinery implant and an engine line
Hopefully I'll see someone on here and we can do a car race or something
