If you mean live as updating every x seconds, then no. However, here's a screenshot of the base:

And an interesting mixed-ore smelting setup:

Hi Daniel,

Is it possible to get Railtanker mod or lava barrels into the server?
We only have one lava pool in our base and it seems impossible to pipe lava from miles away into the base. Would be much more fun to setup a lava barrel or railtanker setup.
With that it will also be possible to smelt more iron+copper to get cheaper processing units...

Cheers,
judos

The railtanker mod has been added to the server, see the first post for details.

I think yesterday somebody pressed that Dytech button, which I heard of, can cause a server crash.

@daniel: Maybe write something in the rules about that. I think the sub buttons which appear for the different Dytech parts, contain buttons with weird texts, and those will actually crash it.
Another question: What are you actually running for the server, such that no <server> player appears? Is that a mod, or is there something else that can be configured?
I would like to have a lan-party with my friends to play factorio as well, and maybe I could use something similar, such that I don't have to run factorio on my computer all the time.

Thanks for your help! And also thanks for all those players building the awesome base :D It's again feasible to kill those OP enemies with those laser turrets..
Cheers

Yes, that was the reason for the crash yesterday, Dytech-Power has now been upgraded to 1.1.2, that fixes the issue.

If there is no <server> player you are not actually playing on the dedicated server. Might be that your internet disconnected or the server went down.

Hi Daniel,

Seems like the server is in some invalid state. When I try to connect it always immediately after downloading the map, creates a desync report and tries to redownload the map again. Maybe we need to restart the server.

Thanks for your help :)
Cheers,
judoss

Wut, that shouldnt have done anything with the dytech button xD

Btw, please update to Dytech-Power-1.1.3. I derped, and the 1.1.2 update is completely broken.

Nice to see an public server using Dytech :D I'll pop in some time :)

It was of course the back button in 1.1.1, as reported in issue #420.

As the game was won, I'll restart the server sometime tomorrow, probably in the afternoon.
I've not decided on the mods yet, but for now I'm thinking of something like vanilla, but with RSO to make the resources more interesting and FARL/FAT to make it easier to build trains. If you have any ideas/suggestions concerning mods, post them here.

Same as last round, it seems. I added Landfill and Resource Monitor Mod and changed the ores to low/small/poor.
Technically, it's already tomorrow here, so that's fine with me.

I know that the server is down at the moment, there is a hardware issue on the server because it won't boot (seems to be a RAM fault).

EDIT: Server is up again :)

The link to the landfill mod in the first post is wrong. It should be this url:
https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... =91&t=4973

Right, i've corrected it, thanks.
I've also added the mod Advanced Logistics System (0.2.6) and removed the Resource Monitor mod, because it is not multiplayer compatible. I've seen the new YARM mod, but I don't think we need it on the server.

Could we roll back to 12.8 until they get this strobe/music-fading problem fixed?
