MEGA Project - 100k Science to win

I want to gather many players together to participate in a mega project that combines bob's mod, RSO and science tweaker set to extended. The lat Rocket tech will cost 100,000 base science packs. Let me know if you've got a server in the US that can host. I've got all the settings dialed in so it's difficult but not impossible. Sign up now!

thers a mod that adds higher research ( spaceX I think its called ) it adds a reason to luach 45 rockets with parts costly parts.

and highest research costs 250k, I would post alink be carnt find it

So what's the benefit of this mod - it's just a resource sink. If they are going to do a resource sink, they should add all the new graphics and sounds to go with it. Any kid can code: research_cost=99999999999 resources. Big deal.

Nice idea.

I usually play with a ton of science-complexity mods, including FluxExpensiveTech. That one makes things deeper in the research tree to be exponentially more expensive. Using that will make research costs to increase steadily and not just one MASSIVELY costly thing at the end of the research tree.

I hear that .15 is coming soon and with it a hugely expanded tech tree. It makes sense to wait for the release, since it should be a much richer experience.

Where did you hear that? 0.14 isn't even stable yet. I'd be surprised if we see 0.15 in next 5-6 weeks. My bet would be last couple of weeks of the year if not early next year.
