Anyway to increase alien loot pick up range?

Is there?

Once in late game, it takes much longer to run around all over the map picking up the artefacts than it does to actually kill the aliens, because you just about have to run over them, and they're almost indistinguishable from the background.

Take a look at mod named qol research.
It has quite a few options so you can decide if you increase only reach for building or also for pickup and set an initial bonus plus get techs to increase it (including infinite one).

PS.
I'm usually disabling those since with natural evolution mod there is simply to many biters :D

You could also use a deconstruction planner filtered to items on ground and have bots pick it up for you. Or even just use the red Xs for better visibility.

Yes, there's 2 things to increase pick up ranges, and both have already been said.

#1 Install a mod that increases loot range.
#2 Use deconstruction planner to have robots do it.

Tried QoL research, it had no effect even after researching the player reach research options. I'll try the other suggested mods in turn now as well.

Loot Chest is working like a charm, in case anyone comes back to this thread at a later date. It works brilliantly.
