Here it is, our new localization Plugin for Bobs Mods and (partially) ShinyBob.

I'll try to remember to update these for next time.

I was also considering a 3rd party Locale mod, something I don't maintain myself but other people translate for me.
The question though is if it can be made as one of those mods that don't break multiplayer compatabillity if some people have it and others don't, like the official campagne pack.

I think I forgot to include these in the recent update. x.x

Okay, I'm thinking that this should be the format for locales additional to english (So they can be easilly edited and added to without having to re-release mods just to add a translation)

After taking a break, I'm still working on it. I've re-encoded a few files that were encoded incorrectly: Should be UTF8, and fixed a couple of errors that caused the game to crash trying to load it. (hydrogen-canister=Wasserstoffgasflasche leeren instead of empty-hydrogen-canister=Wasserstoffgasflasche leeren, etc)
Also adding a Russian translation.

I'll upload the revised version when I'm done.

Perhaps if there's a project for it, people may try and contribute other languages too.

One of the issues of having the translations in 2 places (this mod, and my mods) is that you don't know which one loads first. if my mod loads after this mod, you may end up with a wrong translations.

So, should I delete the translations from my mods, in favor of this mod?

Anyway, that link is the latest edit, everything "Apears" to work, the most important things are that the game actually loads, and that a non-roman charactor (Accented charactors etc) doesn't act like an end of line.

I totally agree with the split. It's better to maintain the translation seperatly, so you can focus on your work and we can update the translation.

Forked/updated/pull requested.
I've added original (en) files to repo, as I use some kind of CAT tool which requires source files to be present. Anyway, if you don't like it, remove them.

I don't mind English being included in the repo, as long as I can remember to update it from time to time. it would give the opertunity to update the translations between mod versions, rather than having to wait for release. But it shouldn't be included in the release.

Updated the first post here, so the repository is mentioned.

I'll improve some of the german translations and release the next version after that without the english source files.

Okay.

Just make sure the encoding is correct before you release it, you have to actually set the language in game to test it. Some of the previous releases actually crash the game on load due to wrong encoding, others have strings that terminate at an accented character. As mentioned previously, it should be standard UTF-8 (There are alternate versions too)

Polish localization / Polska lokalizacja

Hi there.
I made a translation of BoB's mod into Polish.
Hope you enjoy it, it should be quite accurate, tried to do my best. Although any comments and suggestions are welcomed.

To install it just unpack in your mod's folder

Hello,

I have translated some mods but i don't really know how to use Github. Any advice anyone? Thx :)
I have translate to FR from EN, hope the translation is correct in most case and accurate with the rest of the FR translation.

The only think that i don't know how to handle is that :

assembling-machine-4=__ENTITY__assembling-machine-4__

These sort of line need translation too?

These are special case lines that basically say "Use the name specified as "assembling-machine-4" in the Entity section", so, you can ignore these lines.

Hi there.
I have a problem, dont know really how to install localization. I drop zip to mods folder and game has crash every time when startup. do I need unzip files or something else?
