So I decided to try and design an alien artifact-farm. And I came up with this. I've a mk5 miningdrill in the middle, marked red, with 5 pollution producing modules 8, with a bonus of +400% pollution. That's +2000% pollution! This badboy produce a wooping 1058,4 pollution. And those bitters doesn't like that.

The bitters ignore belts, because they are after the mining drill and all the belts prevents the spitters from firing their goo, and the bitters just get stuck. They are just getting sucked in the belts to their doom (all the outer belts are pointing inwards)
Then all the belts merges into the center where the artifacts are collected.

Poor things....

Nifty.
I'm sure you'll end up with more artifacts than you know what to do with.

That is, untill I actually get around to programming the intermediates that require coloured alien artifacts to be used for things like ammo.

Yep. And because I have two of them heh.. That could be a very interesting feature!
Have you seen my reddit post about my new base? I've made it to mk4 God Modules and all research done with only belts.

I've done something similar with some oil pumps. Added advantage is that they'll keep going, so you won't need to relocate the farm once the ore runs out :lol: I actually think the oil pumps actually procuded even more pollution...
I don't have OCD, I have CDO. It's the same, but with the letters in the correct order.

I think when I tried to do mine, I took a stack of oil barrels with me, and used the water pump to empty, refill and loop around, using a speed module MK8 and pollution creating modules MK8 in all other slots. Though I didn't do anything that elaborate.
