Factorio wiki colour scheme

Is it easy to change the Factorio wiki to a grey/black background with orange headings?

I thought it would be a good idea to have a similar colour scheme to this forum. It can be unpleasant on the eyes when it has got used to the comforting hues of this forum and then a jump to the wiki sears my retina with its brilliant white background.

Dunno. In the end it must be just a change of the CSS file. The problem is the creation of such a file and replacing it, cause those stuff can be made by admins only. No idea. :)

Coooooool: https://forums.factorio.com/wiki/inde ... ction=edit :)

But there is the high danger, that experimentations here will make the wiki unreadable... so we should be very carful with this!

Some small test: https://forums.factorio.com/wiki/inde ... did=116340

Works!

Are you worried about the text being the same colour as the background?

The wikia wikis often have dark backgrounds, this is vaguely what I had in mind.

When you look at the history, you'll see that I used green, not white. :) And I had more this in mind. :)

(But I would make it better readable...)

I agree :) , I couldn't find a good colour equivalent in any of the wikia wikis. Green writing you say? I saw this, I didn't expect to see red writing.

Here's another possible source of useful info.

If this is done it should be done via a completely new default skin. That way if someone has any difficulty reading it they can just change the skin.

Editing the common.css would not be a good idea since it affects every skin so a user wouldnt be able to get away from it if they wanted to. I suppose something like this would need to be done by the admins since skins require you to include PHP files which would be dangerous if they just decided to take a user created one (since PHP run on the server).
