I need to completely understand how the autoplace works to tweak the amount of resources spawned in my mod.

I'll try to write something about it soon. Meanwhile the autoplace blocks in demo-resource.lua and demo-entity.lua are commented, so you can have a look at it and start experimenting (because writing the autoplace specifications is more experimentation than anything else )

It's there. Not completely complete, but usable.
