Ok, I don't entirely understand the Productivity Modules...is the extra production basically giving you extra items for free, as in they do not cost any raw materials?

Yes. You basically trade more energy, time and pollution for more products.

Ah, now I see the point of them (a bit). Still not liekly to use them.

They're very good for making purple science packs if you don't have many alien artifacts.

I'm so happy that the last update automates picking up artifacts. I almost forgot how nice it was till I had to pick up some that were from before the update!

I will never drink/eat/consume one of those again.
