Did anyone else delete your achievements at 1.0 launch?

Greetings,

I am curious if anyone else deleted all their achievements for Factorio when they start playing with the 1.0 release?

I did. For me, coming back to Factorio at 1.0 launch. It felt right to look forward to seeing all the achievements pop up again.

I have to thank the devs by the way. Factorio is the only game I have every completed every steam achievement in. It has provided many hours of enjoyment. I am curious what the changes to the steam global stats will be from people deleting their achievements?

I won't. It was a pain do do lazy bastard and it took me an unreasonable amount of time to achieve the spoon. I'm not resetting those. Moreover I don't feel they have become that much more difficult with 1.0, so my efforts shouldn't be dismissed.

So understandable, Koub.

Achieving there is no spoon is really quite a pain. It took me three dedicated attempts on the same map with planned out blueprints to pull off.
I am actually looking forward to redoing a lazy bastard run in the future.

Your efforts in both in the game and forums are not to be dismissed at all.

My achievements get reset all the time as I use new installs a lot.

I don't even pay attention to them anymore.

When I build yet another megabase, standard achievements do not impress anymore :)

Oh, neat! I didnt know it would also reset the steam achieves. I didnt even try, as I keep 2 different installs, a regular one for modded play. and the Steam version one for vanilla play.

I use the .zip install instead of the .exe install so I can have multiple copies of Factorio with different sets of mods.

So I end up with a clean slate of achievements for each install.

I reset mine because I got through most of 0.17 following a tutorial, and had only earned one in Steam on my own the entire time since 0.12. It felt right to start fresh as I was setting out on my own again and wanted to earn the achievements myself - not by following a video guide.

Was a bit nervous about it, thinking I might not earn them back again. But I have prevailed! Launched a rocket the other night, and they have been steadily launching since. Even managed to pick up a few on my own I didn't have before such as Steamrolled and So Long & Thanks for the fish.

Definitely made a good call on my part to reset them and really let myself figure out the game without holding hands.

I have reseted it as well. Back in time, when multiplayer was available, with the first server join, I received about 80% of the achievements.
It's good to have them cleared, now I can really show, what I can achieve.
