They've been quite clear the price is the price and will never be discounted.

Do not even think about this, discount ? Maybe 10 years later, not the release day. And this game is so good, it's worth every penny.

in regards of my over 3500 hours in 4 years (and counting) - thats around 2-2.5hours each day on average - I would say the money for factorio was most likely my best spent money whole life for a game. wouldnt seem fair from my site of view if there would be a discount. Wube/the devs would even deserve a (much) higher price imho
