Silly noob question on newest version

Hey all, I got this game a while ago actually version 0.9.8 build 9400 is there a way for the game to auto patch to newest version or do I have to download newest version manually? And if I have to what is the latest version of the game? Thanks...

you have to check 'Enable experimental updates' in the options menu ingame

That's right. After that restart your client. Then 0.11.3 will be installed. It's not stable yet, but the singleplayer at least works fine. Even multiplayer is pretty good already. The latest stable version should be 0.10.12 iirc.

Though wasn't there a bug with one of the older versions not being able to update automatically even with experimental updates turned on?

Yes and that was exactly 0.9.8. So you must download new version manually.

But only once; for future releases, you are able to use the experimental updates as someone described earlier in this thread.
