This is going to be a controversial topic, so prepare yourselves.

The biggest issue by far with Factorio is that people are calling the purple circuits 'blue circuits'. Its so clearly purple, I can't wrap my head around why people would call it blue. I get that the other circuits are green and red, so blue would make logical sense were that the color that was used, but it isn't. The color is Purple.

Let all agree to stop living in a fantasy land where up is down, and dark is light. Lets open ourselves to the light of reason and logic, and usher in a new age of enlightenment where truth must reign, and call processing units 'purple circuits'.

I honestly can't tell if this is a troll, a cultural misunderstanding, a mod, or a monitor setup issue.

I do know that if you open up the icon and check the RGB values of most of the processing unit, it's overwhelming blue with red and green in equal proportions, if you're seeing something different, you might want to get that looked at.

RGB for Processing unit: mostly (shadows etc differ) 65 65 255 clearly in the blue range

Purple is more like 160 32 240 according to the first RGB table i could find on google, where the red portion is a significant difference

Look at the purple circuits next to any blue item in the game, and it's clearly not blue.

Any example for any item which are really blue in your opinion?

OK so I think they should be renamed not-exactly-blue-yet-not-exactly-purple-either-but-rather-some-kind-of-slightly-purple-ish-blue circuits.

Tip : I agree yours is waaaaay more precise, and I'm sure you'll impress all your relatives with such precision. Yet, I prefer mine because it's somewhat easier to use everyday

It looks much more blue than purple.

Blue is one syllable, purple two.

Blue is more efficient.

UPS of my brain is more important than all other considerations by the time you need them en masse, so blue wins.

Hmm, I have a hard time seeing the middle "2"... (I even first thought it was a 8!) Am I the only one ?

It is hard to see. I thought that is it really 2 or does my brain just create a pattern I expect to see in noise. I have never had any problems in any color tests, officially or in the net, so I do not suspect my eyes.
